Save Clough Head Cafe

Clough Head Cafe is located on the Grane road between Blackburn and Haslingden and is owned by United Utilities. The cafe is run by Beryl and has been a popular location for ramblers, dog walkers, commuters and residents of east lancashire. It is set in an area of natural beauty with several reservoirs nearby. The cafe also serves as an information point detailing the diverse and rich history of the grane road. United Utilities have given notice to Beryl that she is to close the cafe in a matter of weeks. This will be a great loss to the local community as well as to Beryl who has built up a loyal customer base in the few years she has run the cafe, not to mention the investment she has made in a larger indoor seating area and covered outdoor seating.
